The purpose of this class is to offer additional opportunities for students to finish assignments within the school day. This class is offered to High School students.

Classroom Expectations Below are a few of the policies that are likely to frequently need addressing.

Absences: This class meets as a study hall. Students may opt to work in separate locations or may need to work with other teachers to catch up on assignments. Students must check in daily with instructor before moving to another location.
All elements of the HBSD absence policy also apply to this classroom.

Academic Citizenship: Each student is expected to participate in this class without distracting other students.

Technology Use: Students are expected to follow the HBSD Computer policy.

Grading Policy

This class is offered as an elective credit. Students earn .5 credit per semester.. Grading will be calculated through the following criteria.

Participation … 40% (This means actively working on assignments, not listening to music, watching youtube, going to the bathroom, etc.) Organization … 50% (Each student will be required to keep a running list of assignments and due dates, this can be either pen and pencil or digital.) Academic Citizenship . . . (See Classroom Expectations) … 10%
